| Kevin at Third Arm Logistics worked with Partwell Cutting Technology over several weeks to find a solution to the ever increasing number of stock errors occuring in our warehousing department. Kevin facilitated and enabled our team to raise issues, discuss and develop solutions and then actioned the team in to implementing the ideas. In addition, Kevin contributed a number of ideas from his own experience which were also seen through to completion. An important aspect of Kevin's work was getting the team to understand the consequences of taking short cuts or short term fixes that in the long term create bigger problems. Kevin now undertakes audits on a regular basis and this has not only developed a positive and respectful attitude towards quality but has developed our procedure structure in to a working tool for implementing solutions and change on a continual basis. |

We decided to employ the services of Third Arm Logistics in October 2005 following some interesting months involving relocation and its associated challenges.
Being proud of our ISO9000 registration, we were aware that our 3-year re-certification assessment was due in March 2006 and we required assistance in maintaining and improving our processes following the move.
Third Arm Logistics were chosen because of their experience and expertise in business logistics systems and processes. Following initial meetings with members of our management team, our requirements were defined and tal formulated a plan to take us up to and beyond re certification.
On many occasions working on their own, at other times in close association with our team, they were able to dedicate the time as and when we required.
We successfully achieved a further 3 years accreditation in March following what was probably our best assessment yet, thanks to the team involved.
The continued success of our business relies upon measure and improvement of our performance. We therefore continue to use Third Arm Logistics to evaluate our training needs, measure our processes, ensure audits and risk assessments are carried out and actioned and suggest ways to improve the way our supply chain operates.
